Melting.......

We have been experiencing some phenominal heat here in the last couple of weeks. We purchased a pool for Ben a few months ago in anticipation of said heat. The problem is that the temperature of the pool by afternoon is not conducive to cooling off per se. However, he enjoys splashing around despite the fact that his bathwater is more refreshing. Sean and I have been known to take a dip occsionally. We have decided our next home will have an in-ground pool.

We are hoping to get some of the monsoon moisture everyone "down south" is bragging about. You know who you are. In the six months we have lived here, it has rained approximately three times and only when we are asleep. So not fair!

It's been crazy hot, especially this weekend, and we're not even in the Phoenix area! Keep trying not to melt! Seriously, why did anyone think it was a good idea to live here in the first place!

I seriously think the teps raised 20 degrees once July hit. Thankfully we have a pool in our complex that we visit at least once, sometimes twice a day. However, even our big pool at times feels a bit to warm to really be a relief from the heat! I miss the Tucson rain, too!

I can't say I miss that heat. I have forgotten what it feels like for my face to melt off when I walk outside. I got a good visual on your blog thank you.
